Job Overview
H2O Innovation has an opening for a Regional Sales Representative / Project Management Assistant covering the Western Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia.
Main Responsibilities
Working with the Western Canada sales and project management team to attain revenue targets, develop and expand existing customer base while also providing project management assistance to existing projects. You will also be responsible for organizing power resources and executing tasks in a cost-effective manner.
Key Duties
- Work closely with consulting engineers, general contractors and vendors to promote H2O Innovation's products and services
- Help coordinate sales efforts with the sales team, presentations and proposal writing; develop and expand existing municipal client base through conferences and in face to face meetings
- Work closely with H2O Innovation's support network, including engineers, technicians, vendors and suppliers and manage technical submittals for existing projects
- Oversee writing and reviewing of operations manuals, travel to sites for installation, startup and commissionning, performance test and operator training of water treatment systems in accordance with individual project specifications for projects in Western Canada
Skills and Attributes Required
- Technology or Engineering Degree
- 5+ years of related water and/or wastewater treatment project management and sales experience

Job Overview
This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to start-up, train, troubleshoot, maintain and repair sophisticated water treatment systems in the field. The Field Service Technician / Engineer should understand process technologies such as reverse osmosis (RO), ultrafiltration (UF), nanofiltration (NF), media filtration, etc. Although experience is preferred, we will train the right candidate. This position requires approximately 75% travel.
Main Responsibilities
- Use your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to maintain, repair and occasionally start up industrial and municipal reverse osmosis and filter systems
- Assist, guide, and instruct customers in proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Work independently, drawing on support from the rest of the team when needed
- Offer recommendations to improve equipment and service programs
- This individual will maintain a home office and will travel to customer sites predominately located in (but not limited to) Indiana, Ohio and Michigan
Skills and Attributes Required
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering, chemistry, biology, etc.) preferred
- Qualified candidates will have working knowledge of industrial water filtration equipment
- Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills necessary. Must be able to interact well with engineers and managers as well as plant operators. Honesty, integrity and ability to work with others are essential
- Technical problem-solving skills a must
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) is required
- Experience with ladder-logic PLC programming a plus
- Must have a clean MVR and ability to safely and reliably operate a vehicle
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 100 pounds
