Reverse Osmosis & Nanofiltration
Nanofiltration and reverse osmosis can be part of the treatment chain for cooling water recycling, make-up water treatment, produced water treatment, etc.
ultrafiltration and microfiltration
Ahead of an NF/RO unit operation, ultrafiltration and microfiltration can be part of the treatment chain for cooling water recycling, make-up water treatment, produced water treatment, etc.
A biological treatment can be part of the solution to treat oily wastewaters. MBRs have the advantage of doing so in a compact footprint with superior water quality by replacing trickling filters, aerated lagoons, or oxidation ponds.
Multimedia and greensand filters can be used as stand-alone systems to primarily remove particulate, iron, and manganese. They can also be used as part of the pretreatment chain in front of reverse osmosis.
